In part 2 of our look at innovative and engaging learning experiences offered by HCOS, we want to share about our short-term missions trip to Guatemala, teaming with Impact Ministries to offer students a chance to serve and minister.
We are excited to announce a new short-term missions opportunity for HCOS and Flex Academy students!
This trip is in partnership with Impact Ministries in Guatemala and is an opportunity for Grade 11 and 12 students to minister, serve and deepen their faith. Students will be involved in work projects, VBS activities, visitation and evangelism, and supporting the ongoing work of the Impact Ministries team. The dates for this trip are May 17-27, 2024, and an application package for interested students will be available later in the spring. Costs will be confirmed but are expected to be in the $3000 range per student. Students can also earn course credit towards graduation as they prepare for, participate in and reflect on their experiences.
