“Using AI helps me through difficulties with my writing and I want to share these ideas with other teachers so they can help their students.” Ben shares.
What started as a personal learning tool has now become an opportunity to educate others on the benefits of AI in education.
The Flexibility of Home Education
Thanks to the flexibility of online learning at HCOS, Ben has been able to advance in courses like Math while also dedicating time to his interests in technology and AI. This personalized approach to education has allowed him to develop confidence and gain new skills beyond the traditional classroom setting.
“HCOS helps me get ahead in some courses like Math and French and it also helps me in some courses that I have more struggle with like English. I also have a lot more of a flexible schedule and I can use things from my life like hockey and woodworking to count towards school.” Ben describes.
Facing New Challenges
Ben admits that presenting at a conference is a big step out of his comfort zone.
“I am super nervous, but I know that sharing will help other people with their writing,” he shares.
His story is a testament to the power of stepping up, embracing new challenges, and using personal experiences to inspire and educate others.
